WHO WE ARE AND WHAT WE WANT DECLARATION OF TEMPLAR FAITH In the holy name of God, in the sacredness of the humility that Jesus Christ, the Son of God, has teached to all of us, unworthy to follow the tracks of the king of the kings, in helping our neighbour and hoping that the almighty always holds our poor steps. We, Knights and Ladies of the Temple from the painful catharsis of a fire that devored and sacrificed our last and loved grand master Jacques de Molay who unfairly died, now we are freely here to choose without any physical or mental restrictions, to profess the only one unshakeable faith that neither tortures and sakes nor centuries of death can be suppressed. We are conscious of the great and heavy heritage that the sacrifice, the pain and the sufferings of thousands of our brothers have transmitted to us from an ancient past, so present and so near, through dark centuries full of lies, derisions, treasons and full of a guilty silences; vital metaphor of a fire which burns into our humily consciences more brightly. We believe in the capability of the man to oppose the evil by loving, to dissolve the hate and violence by a sign of help and brotherhood, to give a smile to suffering, weak, poor and ill people, giving a voice to people who have not one, to work with honesty, moral and material rectitude. We convince to recognize ourself into the human species only, together with the almighty, the most higher expression, in the uprightness, the love and the humility example we have received from Jesus Christ, his son, from the apostles, from the martyrs, from all saints, from people of good wishes and from all of our ancient and very loved templar brothers. We are sure we are expecting the most hard and exasperating challenges against the devil both in spirit and body, against all the cruel manifestations of the king of the dark, against the evil of the barbarish, of the violence, of the intolerance, of the thirst of power and of the arrogance of dictatorships of some men. We commit ourself in the observance of the great templar principles marked out by Saint Bernard de Clairvaux, rule to which we always refer and in the observance of the civil principles we have won and that we greatly wanted, to help our neighbour both materially and morally by our templar knights and ladies, giving all our resources at poor disposal and giving them all our love and engagements, so that all this people could find, under the great and holy light, an identity, only, a stimulus of a better life, in the name of the universal values for love and brotherhood that Jesus Christ has teached to us, under any heaven and earth to identify the temple that now is the man. Non nobis domine, non nobis, sed nomini tuo da gloriam This is our declaration of faith and our purposes, which will be now and forever. Even if we believe that our declaration of faith could be sufficient to understand our purposes we prefer to be more specific just to explain them better. This is a free non-profit making association and its main purpose is to help poor people, this is the first step we wont to follow. In the next future we will carry out other activities more aimed at helping people who is needy:
These are only some of our purposes, which will extend to cultural and tourist excursions, too, as well as cycle of conferences for a better knowledge of our age-old history and of our order. We want to underline that with our work it is not our intention to sponsor any political party or organization. People who want to help us will be very appreciated, but we are not interesting in sponsoring anybody. The order is not interested in introducing into the market or creating commercial lines for anyone. Every kind of help with such assumption will be rejected.
